Effective Relief of General Muscle and Back Pain

The nolarola was developed as a personal self-help tool by licensed massage therapist, Carolyn Nola Johnson and Duke Johnson, a carpenter and woodworker.

In late 2010, the nolarola company was purchased by Constance (Connie) Carlson, PT, MS Ed., a physical therapist, who was introduced to the tool at the Myofascial Release Treatment Center “Therapy on the Rocks” in Sedona AZ. The benefit of the tool for the treatment of her personal musculoskeletal problems became clear after using it for a few weeks. When Ms. Johnson decided to sell the company, Connie jumped at the opportunity to purchase it and keep the nolarola available for use by therapists, doctors and patients around the world.

nolarola remains a small, family-run business with all aspects of manufacturing completed in the U.S.A. We ship using USPS within the U.S. and internationally.

“Painful stress points in the muscles can be discovered by rolling the nolarola over the affected areas. By simply applying pressure with the roller, the site needing therapeutic massage can be found and treated simultaneously. This procedure is simple, easy and effective. My patients use the nolarola at the Smolen Clinic and also use it at home to relive muscle aches and pains.”

Jamie R. Smolen, MD

“The nolarola is a versatile tool to aid in relieving discomfort from muscle induced imbalances. It is an effective treatment for spasms, trigger points, myofascial pain, and general muscular tension. The nolarola is a natural self-contained unit, beautiful in form and simple to use. When utilized properly, iti s a safe treatment to relieve the nagging aches of day-to-day living.”

James D. Powers, DC

“We have been using the nolarola with consistent success combined with Myofascial Release for relief of pain and decrease in spasm and stress. We use the nolarola prior to Mysofascial Release treatment and have found it to be an excellent self-help tool for home use as well.”
